Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actor from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic family. Jacqueline's father Elroy is from Sri Lanka (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother Kim is Malaysian. Jacqueline is the youngest of two brothers and an older brother. It was because of the war that raged in Lanka that her parents made the decision to relocate to Bahrain. Following her education in Bahrain and after that, she received the Scholarship to attend Sydney's University of Sydney, where she completed a bachelor's master's degree in Media and Communications in Sydney, Australia. To further develop her interest in cultures, languages and other languages, she was enrolled at the Berlitz language schools in order to study Spanish in addition to improving French as well as Arabic. The crown was awarded to Miss Sri Lanka 2006 for Miss Universe 2006 on March 6th, 2006 and also participated in Miss Universe 2006. Following her winning the 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone entered the television world and hosted a show about Sri Lankan Business known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone was the daughter and badminton world champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew her life in Bangalore, but she came from Copenhagen. While still a teenager, Padukone was a participant in numerous championships for national badminton. However, she resigned from her passion for the game when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her native language is Konkani. Her family ancestors are from the town of Padukone within the Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka state of India. Prakash Padukone is her father and was a badminton player of international fame. Her mother is a travel agent.
